Privacy
This policy covers personal data QPR Institute India collects through this website and through course enrolment.
What we collect
- When you write to us: your name, email address, organisation, and whatever you put in the message.
- When you enrol: name, email address, organisation, and payment confirmation. Card details are handled by our payment provider and never reach us.
- When you visit: anonymised analytics about pages viewed and how you arrived. Analytics run through Cloudflare Zaraz, which processes events at the network edge and forwards them to Google Analytics. Your IP address is not passed to Google. We do not use any of this to identify you.
Why we hold it
To answer enquiries, enrol you on a course, issue a certificate, raise an invoice, and meet our tax and accounting obligations. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising.
Who else sees it
- QPR Institute (United States). Course accounts are created on their platform, so your name and email are shared in order to issue access.
- Our payment provider, to take payment and issue receipts.
- Our accountants and, where required, tax authorities.
Because the course platform is operated from the United States, enrolment data is transferred outside India.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead anywhere are deleted within 12 months. Enrolment and invoice records are kept for as long as Indian tax law requires, currently eight years.
Your rights under the DPDP Act
The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 came into force with the notification of the DPDP Rules on 14 November 2025. Under it you can:
- ask what personal data we hold about you and what we have done with it;
- ask us to correct or complete anything inaccurate;
- ask us to erase it, where we are not required by law to keep it;
- withdraw consent you have given, as easily as you gave it;
- nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf if you die or become incapacitated;
- complain to the Data Protection Board of India if we do not deal with you properly.
Write to [email protected]. We respond within 30 days. If we need to verify who you are before acting, we will ask for the minimum that does that.
Grievance officer
Complaints about how we have handled your personal data go to the same address, marked for the attention of the Grievance Officer. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can escalate to the Data Protection Board of India.
Breach notification
If personal data we hold is breached, we will notify the Data Protection Board and every affected person, describing what happened, what it may lead to, what we have done, and what you can do.
Cookies and consent
We use analytics cookies to understand which pages are useful. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell or share data with advertising networks.
Analytics are handled by Cloudflare Zaraz rather than by scripts loaded into your browser from third parties. Blocking cookies costs you nothing on this site: every page, every phone number and every link works identically without them.
Children
Our courses are sold to adults and to institutions. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. Where an institution enrols students who are minors, the institution is responsible for obtaining verifiable parental consent as the DPDP Act requires, and we process that data only on the institution's instructions.
